Job summary

SUMMIT VIEW HOLDING COMPANY LLC in the Hamburg area is seeking a Tow Truck Driver to respond to calls from stranded motorists and provide emergency roadside assistance, accident recovery, and vehicle recovery in the Hamburg area. You will document each call accurately and may handle payments in the field as needed.

The ideal candidate has experience with roadside assistance or basic vehicle repair, has driven a tow truck before, and demonstrates excellent communication and interpersonal skills.

Qualifications

• Must hold a valid driver's license.
• Has a clean driving record and can exhibit safe driving skills.
• Experience with basic roadside assistance, such as changing a tire.
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
• Applicants must not have a criminal record or other disqualifying history that would prevent them from being approved or authorized to perform tows for insurance companies, local police departments, state trooper agency type of towing assignments.
• CDL is preferred but not required

Responsibilities

• Respond to roadside emergencies within a designated area.
• Professionally and accurately assist the client by recovering the vehicle and bringing it to a designated location.
• Maintain the tow truck and all of your equipment to ensure a safe working environment.
• Maintain excellent records of calls responded to.
• Write and present invoices to clients in the field and accept payment as needed
