Job summary

U-Haul is seeking a Hitch Service Technician in Charlotte, NC to install, explain, and service hitch and towing packages for customers. You will work in our Moving and Storage Center to deliver high-quality hands-on support and safety-conscious service.

The role requires basic wiring, hand and power tool experience, a valid driver’s license, and a high school diploma or equivalent. A fast-paced team environment and opportunities for career advancement are offered.

Qualifications

• Valid driver’s license and the ability to maintain a good driving record.
• Basic wiring and hand/power tool experience.
• High School Diploma or equivalent

Responsibilities

• Understand and explain U-Haul’s variety of towing packages
• Recommend and install the right tow package on customer vehicles
• Provide exceptional customer service and support to U-Haul customers.
• Other duties as assigned
• Participate in ongoing continuous U-Haul education through U-Haul University
