Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree (or higher) in Economics, Data Analytics, Mathematics, or Statistics.
  • 1-3 years of relevant professional experience in economic research, consulting, or applied data analysis.
  • Advanced proficiency in Excel.
  • Working knowledge of a statistical or scripting language (R, Python, or Stata).
  • Comfortable using AI tools to support research, analysis, and writing with careful verification.
  • Familiarity with public data sources (Census/BLS/BEA) and platforms like CoStar is a plus.
  • Experience working independently and in teams with multiple priorities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

  • Collects and analyzes third-party statistics.
  • Updates recurring research, including charts, reports, and presentations.
  • Produces accurate calculations and verifies methods.
  • Synthesizes information and communicates findings clearly.
  • Contributes to online survey research and client programs.
  • Supports and, with experience, manages research projects of varying complexity.
  • Builds and refines economic impact models and explains results to nontechnical audiences.
  • Drafts report narratives and client-ready deliverables.
  • Uses AI tools to accelerate research while validating outputs against source data.
