Job summary

Beyond New Horizons, LLC (BNH) seeks a Tour Coordinator to support the Arnold Air Force Base Public Affairs office. You will oversee the tour program, market the base to visitors, and coordinate tour requirements with on-base staff to deliver engaging, compliant tours.

The role requires a Bachelor’s degree and 2+ years in public relations or tour operations, with U.S. citizenship and ability to obtain a security clearance. PPE and safety compliance are essential responsibilities.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field and at least two years of professional experience.
• Experience delivering presentations or guided tours to groups of ten or more.
• Must be able to obtain and maintain an active security clearance and AEDC access.
• U.S. Citizenship is required to obtain and maintain the security clearance.

Responsibilities

• Oversee the Arnold AFB Tour Program.
• Market Arnold AFB to solicit tour participation.
• Coordinate tour requirements and maintain paperwork with tour requestors and on-base personnel.
• Develop tour agendas based on tour types to meet tour requests.
• Serve as guide on tours and interact with participants.
• Collaborate with STEM coordinator when tours involve STEM education.
• Develop on-tour materials and handouts; update the tour guide booklet.
• Ensure PPE rules and on-site safety protocols are followed.
• Act as Point of Contact for purchasing and requisitioning supplies for Public Affairs.
• Perform other duties as required.
