Job Description

San Diego Bike & Kayak Tours, Inc. is seeking tour guides to lead bike, kayak and snorkel tours. We have both full and part time positions available!

Bike & Kayak Tours Inc. is an award-winning tourism company providing travelers with unique experiences in the La Jolla Shores area and at Coronado's Ferry Landing. Our tailored tours offer amazing insights to the history of San Diego while exploring the stunning La Jolla Ecological Reserve in kayaks or the biking along the breathtaking views of the most popular San Diego Beaches.

We are currently looking for tour guides to join our team of professionals. You will be highly energetic with a strong sense of adventure and a sound knowledge of the area. A high level of communication, time management and problem-solving skills are a must.

Requirements

Duties: Safely guide enjoyable bike, kayak, and snorkel tours (2-3 tours daily) with an emphasis on customer enjoyment, safety, relevant and thorough dialogue, and adapt to the day’s conditions/customer pool. Guides will assist with loading/unloading kayaks and other equipment, wetsuit sizing, driving company vehicles to deliver equipment, assisting customers with rental gear and providing general customer service.

Certification Prerequisites: Current, valid CPR for the Professional Rescuer certification and First Aid certification (both issued by American Red Cross). If hired, you must have signed up for these certifications before first day of work in order to start training if you do not have these.
