Responsibilities include field layout with total station equipment, as-built data to VDC, and maintaining layout logs. Strong attention to detail and clear field-office communication are essential.

Qualifications

• Experience with total station equipment (Trimble, Leica, or Topcon).
• Working knowledge of Trimble Field Link, Autodesk Point Layout, or similar software.
• Understanding of electrical construction drawings.
• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
• Effective communication between field and office teams.

The Total Station Technician supports the electrical construction team by providing accurate, model-based layout and verification in the field. This role ensures all electrical systems, racks, conduit, and equipment are installed precisely according to coordinated BIM models and design documents, supporting efficient prefab installation and on-time project delivery.
