The Total Rewards Manager will be responsible for the design, implementation, and management of our compensation, benefits, payroll and recognition programs. This role is critical in ensuring that our rewards strategy attracts, motivates, and retains top talent while aligning with organizational goals and market competitiveness. The Total Rewards Manager will partner closely with HR leadership, Finance, and business leaders to deliver a holistic rewards approach that supports our company’s growth and employee engagement.
Develop, design, manage and execute a comprehensive benefits strategy that aligns with company culture, values, and business objectives.
Evaluate and recommend innovative health, wellness, retirement, and ancillary benefits to enhance employee experience.
Manage relationships with benefits providers and brokers, ensuring cost efficiency and service quality.
Lead annual open enrollment, communication campaigns, and employee education around benefits offerings.
Evaluate effectiveness of benefit offerings and recommend enhancements based on market trends and employee needs.
Partner with vendors and brokers to ensure optimal service delivery and cost effectiveness.
Creation of wellness plans/initiatives
Oversee end-to-end payroll operations across multiple geographies, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and compliance with tax regulations.
Partner with Finance to support audits, reconciliations, and reporting.
Identify and implement payroll process improvements and system enhancements.
Design, implement, and maintain competitive compensation structures, including salary ranges, incentive plans, and equity programs.
Lead annual compensation reviews, market benchmarking, and job evaluations.
Partner with HR Business Partners and leaders to provide guidance on pay decisions, promotions, and rewards.
Ensure total rewards programs comply with all federal, state, and local labor laws and regulations.
Maintain policies, documentation, and processes to meet internal and external audit requirements.
Monitor evolving regulations and market practices, proactively adjusting company policies and practices.
Provide insights and reporting on compensation and benefits data to support decision-making.
Monitor key metrics such as compensation ratio, benefits utilization, and cost trends.
Provide thought leadership on compensation, benefits, and payroll to influence business decisions.
Lead and develop a small team of Total Rewards professionals, fostering growth and accountability.
Act as a trusted advisor to senior leadership on total rewards strategy and its impact on talent attraction, retention, and engagement.
Champion a culture of transparency, equity, and continuous improvement within the HR function.
Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources/Business Management or related field
Minimum of 6 years of experience in compensation, benefits, or total rewards roles.
Strong knowledge of compensation principles, benefits administration, and HR best practices.
Proficiency with HRIS systems (ADP) and compensation/benefits tools (Labor IQ).
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and project management skills.
Ability to analyze workforce data and trends to recommend adjustments in pay and benefits.
Strong communication and stakeholder management abilities.
Proven leadership experience with the ability to influence at all levels of the organization.
Ability to balance strategic thinking with operational execution
Proven ability to lead cross-functional projects and manage vendors/consultants.
