Job summary

UBMD Orthopedics and Sports Medicine is seeking a Total Joint Surgeon to join our Buffalo team. The clinician will provide comprehensive adult reconstruction care, perform primary and revision arthroplasty, and manage complex cases with an experienced group of partners.

The role includes teaching medical students, residents, and fellows, participating in grand rounds and conferences, and contributing to research while collaborating with a large clinical and administrative support network.

Qualifications

• MD/DO or equivalent training in orthopedic surgery.
• Board certification or eligibility preferred.
• Experience in adult reconstruction is ideal.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical care for adult reconstruction patients.
• Perform primary and revision arthroplasty; manage infections and periprosthetic fractures.
• Participate in education, grand rounds, journal clubs and conferences.
• Support research and teaching with medical students and residents.
