What’s Upstate is seeking an Orthopedic Total Joint Surgeon in New York to join a growing team. Responsibilities include performing total joint surgeries and managing complexities in surgical procedures.

Qualifications

• Experience in complex joint replacement surgeries, trauma, and infections.
• Ability to develop and present educational programs.
• Skill to supervise and advise clinical professionals.

Responsibilities

• Perform total hip and knee joint surgeries.
• Handle all cases including primary and revision procedures.
• Participate in general call schedule.

Skills

Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction / Total Joint Arthroplasty

Board certified or board eligible

Knowledge of legal and ethical standards for medical care

Effective verbal and written communication skills

Education

Medical degree (M.D. or D.O.)

Completion of residency and internship
