  • Perform total joint replacement surgeries including hip and knee.

  • Participate in on-call coverage, mostly for bread and butter fracture care.

Job description

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Total Joint Orthopedic Surgeon to join our dynamic team at Eastside orthopedics & Sports medicine, located in Milwaukie, Oregon, a growing active community 20 minutes from downtown Portland in the metro area. This is an exciting opportunity for a surgeon who is passionate about patient care and looking for the potential to become a partner in a thriving orthopedic practice.

  • Walk into a practice with already a major need for hip and knee arthroplasty and potential to take over a retiring surgeon’s busy joints practice in 2-4 years

  • Perform total joint replacement surgeries, including hip and knee, both primary and revision.
  • Manage patient consultations, pre-operative evaluations, and post-operative care.
  • Participate in on-call coverage as part of the practice’s rotation. Call coverage is 1 in 5, covering 1-2 community hospitals without trauma designations. Mostly bread and butter fracture care
  • Contribute to the development of surgical protocols and best practices.
  • Maintain a strong rapport with patients, providing exceptional care and clear communication throughout their treatment journey.
  • Board-certified or board-eligible in Orthopedic Surgery.
  • Fellowship training in Total Joint Arthroplasty.
  • A passion for providing exceptional patient care with a commitment to lifelong learning.
  • Strong communication skills and ability to work well within a team.
  • Willingness to participate in an on-call rotation.
