Desert Regional Medical Center, part of Desert Care Network, seeks an fellowship-trained Orthopedic Total Joint and Hip Surgeon to join a high-volume practice in Southern California. The role emphasizes adult reconstruction with MAKO robotic-assisted procedures, strong APP support, and collaboration with a large orthopedic team.

The physician will balance approximately 50% clinic and 50% surgical responsibilities, with 30-50 patient encounters per clinic day and Level I trauma call coverage.

Qualifications

• MD or DO degree from an accredited medical school.
• Board Certified in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Adult Reconstruction, Total Joint Replacement, Hip & Knee Arthroplasty, or related specialty.
• Eligible for unrestricted California medical licensure.
• Residents and fellows are not currently being considered for this opportunity.

Responsibilities

• Focus on adult reconstruction, total joint replacement, and hip surgery.
• Balance clinic and surgical/operative responsibilities.
• Call coverage at a Level I Trauma Center; additional call compensation available.
• Collaborate with a large orthopedic team and APP support.
