Job summary

Southern Orthopaedic Surgeons (SOS) in Montgomery, Alabama, is actively seeking a Fellowship-Trained Orthopaedic Adult Reconstruction Surgeon to join our established practice. This role focuses on primary and revision joint work (TKA/THA) with access to MAKO robotic-assisted technology and DePuy hip implants, blending clinic and OR time with a Monday–Friday schedule.

The practice offers a supportive network of 14 physicians and 10 APPs, strong referral systems, and a clear path to partnership.

Qualifications

• BC/BE in Orthopedic Surgery.
• Fellowship training in Orthopedic Adult Reconstruction.
• Excellent communication skills.
• Patient-focused, collaborative, team player.

Responsibilities

• Primary and revision total joint practice (TKA/THA) and mix of clinic and OR.
• Dedicated operative time with OR cases typically 6:45 AM–3:30 PM.
• On-site and nearby ancillary services including imaging and PT.
• ModMed EMR; pathway to partnership with potential buy-in not required.
• Shared physician call and opportunity to build a robust adult reconstruction practice.
