Audubon Surgery Center at St Francis is seeking a compassionate and detail-oriented Total Joint Coordinator - RN to join our team! If you thrive in a fast-paced environment and have a passion for ensuring seamless surgical experiences, this role is for you.

About the Role:

As a Total Joint Coordinator RN, you will play a crucial role in preparing patients for their upcoming joint and orthopedic procedures by ensuring they are medically optimized and fully informed. You’ll conduct pre-op assessments, review medical histories, coordinate with surgeons and anesthesia teams, and provide patient education—all while delivering exceptional care.

What You’ll Do:

  1. Conduct thorough pre-admission assessments for all our ambulatory surgery patients
  2. Review medical histories, medications, and necessary clearances to ensure surgical readiness
  3. Educate patients on pre-op and post-op care, setting them up for a smooth recovery
  4. Coordinate with physicians, anesthesia providers, and surgical teams to optimize patient care
  5. Maintain accurate documentation and provide compassionate, patient-centered support

What We’re Looking for:

  1. Active RN license in Colorado (or compact state license)
  2. Experience in Pre-Admissions, Pre-Op or PACU
  3. Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills
  4. Excellent communication and patient education abilities
  5. Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a multispecialty surgery center
