Job summary

El Super in Las Vegas is hiring a Tortilleria Clerk (Nixtamal) to support customers, stock displays, and help prepare tortillas and masa. This on-site role requires the ability to lift up to 60 pounds and work in a fast-paced grocery environment.

Starting at $14.50 per hour, the position offers a pathway to develop product handling skills and customer service within a community-focused team at 1255 S. Lamb Blvd.

Qualifications

• Read and comprehend simple instructions, product labels, and shelf tags.
• Write simple correspondence.
• Effectively present information to customers and colleagues.
• Follow detailed, but not complex, written or oral instructions.

Responsibilities

• Assist customers and rotate tortilla displays.
• Prepare various tortillas and masa as needed.
• Maintain a clean, organized tortilla department.
• Lift and move up to 60 pounds as required.
