Job summary

Nabors is seeking a Tubular Services Technician II in Alaska to support torque turn operations. The role requires understanding technical relationships between TT components and coordinating with customer reps for job specs and invoices.

Candidates should have a high school diploma or equivalent, 2–4 years of experience, and solid computer skills. Lifting up to 50 lbs and long shifts may be required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent with 2-4 years of experience.
• Must have solid computer skills and data download ability.
• Ability to lift 50 lbs and work prolonged hours if needed.
• Good communication and organizational skills.
• Oilfield experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Enter job information into a laptop for all specs and coordinate with the customer representative for information and invoices.
• Initial supervision will be provided for the first few months, then independence as confidence grows.
• Understand facts, concepts, theories, procedures, and relationships between tubular components.
• Understand information analyzed after a job completes; data interpretation is critical.
• Identify and communicate with the shop lead for proper placement of the torque turn system and procedures.
• Check pipe specs and obtain torques from the customer representative.
• All other duties as assigned.
