Job summary

CNC Oilfield Services is seeking a reliable Torque & Test Hot Shot Driver with a Class A CDL to support high-pressure testing and field operations across the site. You will transport specialized torque tools, test units, and related equipment, while ensuring safety and DOT compliance.

This role requires at least 2 years of CDL experience, a DOT medical card, and the ability to pass drug screening. You’ll work outdoors in varying conditions, wear PPE, and coordinate with dispatch and field crews

Qualifications

• Class A CDL with HAZMAT preferred.
• Current DOT Medical Card required.
• Must obtain PEC Card prior to field work.
• Minimum 2 years of Class A CDL driving experience.
• Must meet FMCSA & DOT requirements and pass a drug screen.
• Must be at least 21 years old.

Responsibilities

• Safely transport torque tools, hydrostatic test units, hoses, fittings, and other specialized equipment to and from job sites.
• Ensure all equipment is properly loaded, secured, and transported according to DOT regulations and company standards.
• Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections and maintain vehicle documentation.
• Utilize ELDs, DVIRs, load tickets, and hauling software to document field activity.
• Assist with rig-up, rig-down, and equipment staging when needed.
• Identify equipment issues and communicate repair needs.
• Perform minor maintenance on trailers and hotshot units.
• Work closely with supervisors, dispatchers, and field crews to ensure jobs are completed safely.
