Moveras is seeking a hands-on Torque Converter Supervisor to oversee daily production and remanufacturing activities in a fast-paced automotive environment. You will lead a skilled team, ensure welding, balancing, testing and quality standards, and drive safety and efficiency.

Ideal candidates bring 3+ years supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing, familiarity with torque converters, and a track record of continuous improvement using lean methods.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required; Associate's or Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of supervisory experience in automotive manufacturing or remanufacturing.
• Experience with torque converter remanufacturing or related automotive processes preferred.
• Strong understanding of production processes, quality systems, and safety requirements.
• Lean, 5S or Six Sigma knowledge is a plus.
• Proficiency with production reporting systems and MS Office.
• Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus.

Responsabilités

• Supervise and coordinate daily torque converter production and remanufacturing activities.
• Lead, coach, train, and develop department employees for high performance.
• Monitor production flow, staffing, and resources to maximize efficiency.
• Ensure assembly, cutting, welding, balancing, testing meet quality standards.
• Enforce safety procedures and company policies, OSHA compliance.
• Track department metrics: productivity, scrap, rework, downtime, efficiency.
• Collaborate with Quality, Maintenance, Engineering, Materials, and Planning teams.
• Drive continuous improvement, waste reduction, and cost savings.
• Manage performance, attendance, scheduling, and disciplinary actions.
• Support onboarding and cross-training within the department.
• Coordinate maintenance and repairs to minimize interruptions.
• Maintain inventory control and material availability for torque converter ops.
