Schedule: Full-Time | Monday – Friday | 7:00 AM – 3:30 PM

Job Summary

Ark Resource Group is assisting one of our verified industry partners in hiring a Torching / Welder with fabrication experience preferred for a scrap metal recycling operation in the Allapattah area.

This role is ideal for a certified candidate who wants to gain hands‑on experience while working with heavy materials. The position involves cutting thick steel using torch equipment and preparing materials for container loading and transport.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform torch cutting on thick steel and metal structures to meet size requirements
• Assist with fabrication‑related tasks, including breaking down large materials
• Cut and prepare scrap metal for container loading and shipment
• Operate cutting tools and equipment safely and efficiently
• Follow all safety procedures and PPE requirements
• Maintain organized work areas and support yard operations
• Work closely with supervisors to meet daily production goals

Requirements

• Welding certification required (entry‑level accepted)
• Fabrication or metalwork experience preferred
• Experience with torch cutting thick steel is a strong plus
• Willingness to learn and grow in the scrap metal recycling industry
