Job summary

W. Silver, INC. is seeking a Warehouse Associate in Santa Teresa, NM to safely operate equipment and process materials per WSR procedures.

The role requires high school diploma, warehouse experience preferred, and will involve inspections, weighing materials, completing paperwork, and maintaining a clean work area. Expect 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with occasional weekend work and no travel.

Responsibilities

• Operate equipment safely and according to procedures.
• Perform pre- and post-inspections and report any issues.
• Report damage to company property such as racking and trailers.
• Use PPE as prescribed by the company.
• Dismantle machinery and sort materials by type.
• Weigh products or materials and record data.
• Complete paperwork and tally sheets accurately and timely.
• Maintain a clean and organized work area.
• Lift up to 50 pounds and work in varying weather.
• Work full-time, 40 hours per week, Mon-Fri; occasional weekend work.
• No travel expected.

Knowledgeable and safe operation of assigned equipment to process materials according to WSR procedures

Perform routine pre & post inspections on equipment as per instructions; reporting any unsatisfactory results to supervisor

Report any damage to company property of any kind including racking, trailers, equipment

Required to use all job specific PPE as prescribed and provided by the company

Reduces the size of a variety metal objects and items by use of flame cutting and or torching in a timely and effective manner

Dismantles machinery and other items via a variety of mechanical means, segregates material by type

May be required to weigh products or materials and recording weight and other necessary product information

Accurate, legible, and timely completion of paperwork, tally sheets, and/or reports

Maintain clean and organized work area

Physical Demands Walks, sits, stands, bends, lifts, climbs stairs, and moves continually during working hours. Is subject to lifting over 50 pounds.Will work in extreme weather conditions including heat, cold and rain.

Position Type and Expected Hours of Work This is a full-time position, and the expected work hours are 40 hours per week, Monday through Friday; weekend work is also necessary on a need basis.

Travel No travel is expected for this position.
