Job summary

R-2 Contractors is seeking an experienced Topcon GPS/GNSS Trainer to provide hands-on instruction and technical support across nationwide construction projects. This role supports site layout, field data collection, digital modeling, and GPS machine-control systems, helping surveyors, grade checkers, equipment operators, foremen, and project teams use Topcon technology accurately and efficiently.

The successful candidate will combine advanced Topcon data collector proficiency, machine-control

Qualifications

• Proficient with Topcon GPS/GNSS hardware and data collectors.
• Experience with construction surveying and machine control.
• Willing to travel nationwide 75–100%.

Responsibilities

• Deliver classroom and field training on Topcon systems.
• Train field personnel across varying technical levels.
• Support project setup, data import/export and modeling.
• Train crews on excavation machine-control equipment.
• Troubleshoot GNSS, radios, sensors and field networks.
• Document recurring issues and improve procedures.
