Job summary

Chabill's Tire & Auto Service in Louisiana is seeking a Top Level Automotive Technician to join our experienced team. You will review orders with service advisors, diagnose issues, estimate time and parts, and perform high-quality repairs on automotive systems.

Ideal candidates bring strong knowledge of brakes, suspension, and AC systems, own essential tools, and hold a valid driver's license. ASE certifications are a plus for career growth and advancement within the shop.

Qualifications

Minimum of 2 years automotive repair experience.
Exceptional knowledge of automotive systems.
Competency with shop equipment, alignment systems, and other industry equipment.
Experience with brake and suspension repair.
Experience discussing repair needs with service advisors.
Own all necessary tools to complete most automotive tasks.
Valid driver's license.
Eligible to work in the United States.
Experience with air conditioning and engine repair is a plus.
ASE certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

Review work orders and discuss them with service advisors as needed.
Inspect vehicles and diagnose problems.
Provide an estimate of time and parts needed for repair/maintenance.
Perform quality repair and maintenance work on automotive systems.
Install equipment, components, and systems.
Record diagnostic findings, safety concerns and maintenance recommendations on Vehicle Inspection.
