Job summary

Northrop Grumman in Cincinnati (Xetron) seeks a cleared Principal or Sr. Principal RF Electrical Engineer to advance RF systems for government and intelligence customers.

The role offers challenging problems, mission impact, and growth opportunities within a collaborative team. You will design and test RF systems, work with antennas and high-frequency hardware, and contribute to technical documentation and cross-disciplinary projects.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical/Electronic Engineering with 5 years of relevant experience; Master's with 3 years; PhD with 1 year.
• US Citizenship is required.
• Active U.S. Government Top Secret clearance is required.
• Digital and RF circuit design knowledge and experience.
• Experience reading engineering drawings and presenting findings in reports.
• Strong communication and technical writing skills.

Responsibilities

• Design, develop, test, and maintain RF systems, antennas, and equipment.
• Perform RF analysis, simulations, and testing; collaborate across disciplines.
• Develop and maintain design specifications, technical reports, and test plans.
• Provide guidance to junior engineers and team members.
• Proficiency with RF design tools and link-budget analysis.
