Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Roy, Utah site seeks a Principal Computer Systems Analyst to support classified government contracts on-site. The role requires a Top Secret clearance and entails working full-time in a dynamic, mission-focused environment.

You will perform system administration across Windows domains, Active Directory, GPOs, and related security controls, coordinating with engineers and security teams to maintain compliance and reliability.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree required; 5 years with BS, 3 years with Masters, or 0 years with PhD.
• Experience with Windows domains, including Active Directory, GPOs, Policies, and permissions.
• Candidates must have a current DoD Top Secret security clearance (or CE enrollment).
• Must meet DoD 8140 requirements for a System Admin (451) – Intermediate.

Responsibilities

• Perform as a Principal Computer Systems Analyst on classified government contracts.
• Exhibits good communication skills, an energetic approach, and patience with customers.
• Establishes and maintains customer satisfaction according to defined objectives.
• Report task statuses as required for all recurring and non-recurring efforts in written and oral format.
• Able to support multiple networks, ensuring necessary Windows administration tasks are completed; coordinating with others as necessary, working under minimal direction.
• Maintain operations of multi-user computer systems working with system engineers, PC desktop technicians, networking engineers, project managers, end users, and IT/Cyber management.
• Assist with review of internal customer requirements, making recommendations for hardware, software, system component purchases.
• Maintain and provide reliability of systems through installation, upgrading/patching, monitoring, problem resolution, and configuration management.
• Ensure system compliance via Group Policy or other technologies.
• Provide and maintain backup and recovery services; manage file systems and disk space; manage virus protection on a routine basis.
