Visual Soft, Inc is seeking a Cybersecurity Analyst - Mid Level for an onsite federal agency project in Huntsville, AL. Active Top Secret clearance is required, and candidates must be US citizens.

Responsibilities include monitoring networks for security issues, investigating breaches, performing vulnerability testing, installing security measures, and creating forensic data copies. Work schedule is Wed-Sat 12:00 PM–10:00 PM on a full-time onsite basis.

Qualifications

• 5 years of professional experience.
• Experience with Splunk Enterprise Security.

Responsibilities

• Monitor computer networks for security issues.
• Investigate security breaches and cybersecurity incidents.
• Document security breaches and assess damages.
• Work with security team to test and uncover network vulnerabilities.
• Fix detected vulnerabilities to maintain high security standards.
• Recommend IT security best practices.
• Install security measures and protect systems and information infrastructure.
• Conduct analysis, confirm intrusion information and create forensically sound duplicates.
• Decrypt data and provide technical summaries.
• Examine recovered data and perform various analyses.
• Perform real-time cyber defense tasks to support incident response teams.
