Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Linux Systems Architect to design automation for infrastructure and cyber hardening in Redondo Beach, CA. This Level 2 role collaborates with software and systems engineering to translate high-level needs into concrete requirements and solutions.

The position requires a TS clearance with SCI/CI poly readiness, a strong background in Linux environments, and experience with security standards and DoD 8570 certifications. Relocation assistance may be available.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree with 2 years of relevant experience or a Master's degree; an additional 4 years of experience may be considered in lieu of degree
• Active Top Secret clearance required at the time of application, and the ability to obtain and maintain SCI and CI Poly prior to start
• Current Security+ CE, CASP, CISSP, or similar DoD 8570 security certification
• Experience with Linux Operating System
• Experience designing, implementing, and maintaining Classified Linux environments
• Experience operating and managing systems within current applicable information systems cyber compliance standards in closed areas

Responsibilities

• Reviewing, understanding and designing automation techniques to address infrastructure requirements
• Understanding automation for Infrastructure as Code and cyber hardening/patching
• Working closely with software and systems engineering teams to ensure requirements are understood and blockers are elevated
