Job summary

Cambridge International Systems, Inc. seeks an Information System Security Officer to support DoD RMF compliance for systems in Philadelphia, PA.

The role requires an active DoD Top Secret clearance and involves maintaining SSPs, POA&Ms, and accreditation packages. Responsibilities include implementing security controls, conducting vulnerability assessments, handling incident response, and coordinating with system owners to sustain the security posture.

Qualifications

• Six (6) years of experience implementing and coordinating cybersecurity policies across organizational levels.
• Proven expertise conducting vulnerability assessments, threat analyses, and risk mitigation activities.
• Support cyber incident response—isolating assets, collecting data, and reporting findings.
• Experience RMF documentation and DoD/NIST policy adherence.

Responsibilities

• Serve as an ISSO supporting RMF compliance and cybersecurity for DoD systems.
• Implement and monitor security controls in line with NIST 800-53 and DoD policies.
• Conduct vulnerability assessments, threat analyses, and continuous monitoring with ACAS, STIG Viewer, and eMASS.
• Support incident response activities, including data collection and reporting findings.
• Maintain RMF documentation (SSPs, POA&Ms, RARs) and ensure current accreditation packages.
• Collaborate with system owners and administrators to sustain security posture.
• Track and report cybersecurity findings and prepare for audits and inspections.
