Job summary

Visual Soft, Inc. is seeking an Information System Security Officer (ISSO) with an active Top Secret clearance for a Washington, DC site on a federal project.

The ISSO will maintain the security posture of each information system and oversee security configuration, documentation, and incident response in line with DoD/NIST guidelines. Candidates should have DoD Top Secret clearance, a 4-year degree (or equivalent experience), and leadership skills.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top Secret clearance is required.
• 4 year degree (experience can substitute for education).
• Experience with assessing security controls based on DoD RMF or NIST 800-53 guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Maintain the operational security posture for each assigned information system or product.
• Implement, oversee, and maintain security configuration, practices, and procedures per federal policies.
• Collaborate with Security Division, ESOC, OGC, product managers and system owners to ensure product security.
