Job summary

Northrop Grumman’s Space Sector seeks an Integrated Product Team Lead (IPT) to join our team in Dulles, VA or McLean, VA. This 100% onsite role guides technical engineers to resolve program lifecycle issues and deliver products on schedule.

The role reports to the Engineering PM and collaborates with LSE/SEIT and PMO to meet commitments. A 9/80 work schedule with every other Friday off is provided, along with comprehensive benefits.

Qualifications

• Active DoD Top-Secret clearance required at time of application.
• Bachelor’s Degree in a STEM discipline with 8+ years of relevant experience, or a Master’s Degree with 6+ years, or a PhD with 4+ years.
• 2–3 years experience with at least one phase of spacecraft development, build, and/or operations.
• Risk & Opportunity Management experience and change control experience.
• 1 year of experience in Project Management with CAM responsibilities.

Responsibilities

• Deliver on all product team deliverables within cost and schedule, meeting contractual requirements and stakeholder expectations.
• Utilize EVMS to analyze work progress, address variances, and ensure program performance.
• Conduct thorough risk and opportunity management practices.
• Update the Integrated Master Schedule (IMS) and time-phased labor/material spreads for cost reporting.
• Coordinate staffing plans with engineering management and verify skill mix for work scope.
• Collaborate with Global Supply Chain to manage suppliers and material.
• Support build and I&T of IPT subsystems and products.
