Job summary

Soft Tech Consulting, Inc. seeks a Data Governance & Analytics Consultant to support a critical government client in Arlington, VA.

This full-time role requires an active Top Secret clearance and focuses on advancing data strategy, governance, and shared situational awareness across DoD-operated environments. The candidate will contribute to governance policy, workflow automation, and executive analytics enablement, with experience in cloud and AI/ML concepts, DoD operations, and DoD/NG-wide

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in a technical or business field.
• 5+ years of data analytics and automation experience.
• 3+ years with leading Robotic Process Automation tools such as UiPath or Automation Anywhere.
• Active DoD Top Secret clearance required.
• Proficiency with MS Office 365 including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, SharePoint, and Teams.
• Experience with Qlik analytics.
• Cloud deployment experience (AWS or Azure).

Responsibilities

• Support development, documentation, interpretation, and implementation of NGB-wide IT/data governance policies aligned with DoD directives.
• Develop and use algorithms and models to support senior leader decision support and analytics.
• Identify data inputs from DoD/NGB sources; map data/interfaces; generate outputs and documentation (DoDAF products).
• Organize and interpret data to inform senior decision-makers and drive operations.
• Design dashboard wireframes guiding development based on stakeholder input and mission requirements.
• Coordinate with stakeholders to enable data sharing while ensuring secure access.
