Job summary

Northrop Grumman is seeking a Principal/Senior Principal Cybersecurity Analyst to join the Ground Subsystem team in Clearfield, UT. The role involves performing risk-based assessments, supporting certification activities, and ensuring compliance with NIST and DoD RMF frameworks.

The position requires DoD-level certifications, strong written and verbal communication, and a path to Top Secret clearance. Travel is expected up to 10%.

Qualifications

• US citizen with ability to obtain DoD Top Secret clearance
• DoDD 8140 ISSM 722-Intermediate certification or ability to obtain within 6 months
• Bachelor's degree with 5 years of experience, or Master's/PhD with corresponding years; 4 additional years may be considered in lieu of a completed degree

Responsibilities

• Assess weapon system components and networks for configuration and policy deviations through audits and vulnerability assessments.
• Support certification and accreditation processes, including development of system Security Plans and POA&M updates.
• Document results of Assessment and Authorization activities and monitor corrective actions until closure.
• Provide risk-informed security analyses and ensure compliance with NIST SP 800-53, CNSSI 1253, and DoD RMF guidance
• Develop system and policy documentation required for certification evaluation
