Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Cyber Data Analytics Engineer to collaborate with data engineers, analysts, and stakeholders to identify, acquire, process, and visualize diverse data sources for analytics. You will contribute to mission‑critical, high‑visibility projects and help create foundational data assets for the analytics team.

The role requires a TS or higher DoD clearance, 5 years of related experience, and strong programming knowledge in R, Python, or SQL, plus familiarity with BI

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in an information technology related field is required.
• Five (5) years of related experience is required.
• Thorough working knowledge of at least two analytical programming languages (R, Python, Scala, SQL).
• Working knowledge of code repositories & version control (Git).
• Basic working knowledge at least one BI/visualization tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Technical and business domain-focused customer experience.
• A Security + certification is required within 90 days of hire.
• An active DoD Top Secret Clearance or higher is required.
• Selected candidate must pass a background investigation.
• Must be a U.S. Citizen.

Responsibilities

• Work with data engineers & developers to acquire, process, and format data both at source and post‑extraction to create analytical products.
• Work hand-in-hand with data analysts & data scientists to ready diverse data sources for analytics work.
• Liaise with business and operational stakeholders and customers to understand business needs, metrics, and goals and objectives.
• Translate and map user requirements to underlying data sources and develop plans for how those data sources can be extracted.
• Work with data scientists, analysts, architects, and business stakeholders to develop documentation for data sources and pipelines.
