Job summary

Sabre Systems, LLC is seeking a Data Analytics Engineer to collaborate with data engineers, analysts and scientists to acquire, process, and format diverse data sources for analytics. You will help translate business needs into data extraction plans and document data pipelines for mission-critical projects.

The role requires a Bachelor’s in IT, 3 years of experience, and skills in R/Python/SQL/Scala, with Git and BI tool familiarity.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in information technology or related field required.
• Three (3) years of related experience required.
• Thorough knowledge of at least two analytical programming languages (R, Python, Scala, SQL).
• Working knowledge of code repositories & version control (Git).
• Basic working knowledge of at least one BI/visualization tool (Qlik, Tableau, Power BI).
• Security+ certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Active DoD Secret Clearance or higher required.
• Selected candidate must pass a background investigation.

Responsibilities

• Work with data engineers & developers to acquire, process, and format data to create analytical products.
• Collaborate with data analysts & data scientists to ready data sources for analytics work.
• Translate business needs and objectives into data extraction plans and data source mapping.
• Develop thorough documentation for data sources and pipelines (data dictionaries, flow models).
