Job summary

Northrop Grumman Mission Systems is a trusted provider of mission-enabling solutions for global security. The Principal Program Cost Control Analyst will support the Cyber & Cryptographic Solutions OU, interfacing with program managers and CAMs to provide financial analysis, budgeting, and EV/variance management for multiple contracts.

Role requires a Top Secret clearance, US citizenship, and domestic travel up to 10%.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree with 5 years of related professional experience OR a Master’s degree with 3 years of related professional experience
• 9 years of applied experience in lieu of degree may be considered
• Experience with financial systems including cost performance reporting and analysis
• Experience with Earned Value and performance measurement baseline concepts and ability to apply them to multiple contracts, CLINs and control accounts
• Strong Excel skills (pivot tables, VLOOKUP, conditional formatting)
• Ability to travel domestically 10% of the time
• US citizenship is required
• A current, active US Government Top Secret clearance and the ability to obtain and maintain a Polygraph.

Responsibilities

• Support budgets and schedules for contract work and assist in financial analyses
• Prepare budgets and schedules; analyze funding profiles, sales outlook, cash forecasting, and variance
• Monitor costs and schedules on contracts with validated cost schedule control systems; develop WBS and baselines
• Prepare expenditure projections and requests for additional funding to government
• Support audits, reviews, and planning activities; provide financial inputs to internal reports and dashboards
