Job summary

First Coast Security Solutions is seeking armed Protective Security Officers in the Charlotte, NC area with an active Top Secret clearance. Roles are available as part-time and full-time positions, requiring willingness to travel, weekends and holidays, and ongoing incident response support for federally occupied facilities.

Candidates must hold required state licenses and complete PPSB firearms qualification, with a minimum of two years in armed security or related fields preferred.

Qualifications

• Active Top Secret clearance required to be considered.
• Must be at least 21 years old and a U.S. citizen.
• Must hold NC PPSB Armed Security Firearm Permit and be able to obtain suitability.

Responsibilities

• Control access to client facilities by verifying admittance and screening visitors.
• Provide courteous, professional interactions reflecting well on the client.
• Monitor entrances, CCTV, vehicle inspections and remote access systems.
• Patrol assigned areas on foot or vehicle and respond to incidents per procedures.
• Complete logs and reports with accuracy and report suspicious activities to authorities.
• Travel, weekends, and extended shifts may be required.
