A 453-bed tertiary care hospital and the area’s only Level 1 Trauma Center is excited to welcome BC/BE Gastroenterologists to their location in East-Central Illinois. Opportunities exist for General GI physicians, GI Hospitalists, and IBD specialists, while other sub-specialty interests can be accommodated and well supported. Additionally, there is an opportunity for a pediatric gastroenterologist. This not-for-profit hospital ranks as one of America’s 50 Best Hospitals by Healthgrades and has achieved Magnet Designation. Position Highlights

1. Opportunities exist for General GI and GI Hospitalists, with a special need for IBD and Motility specialists.
2. Dedicated APP support.
3. General GI roles are heavily outpatient and can expect an 80/20 split, with 80% lab/procedures and 20% clinic. Physicians are able to be as clinically productive as they want.
4. GI Hospitalists can expect a traditional 7on/7off schedule and cover most of the call burden. Hospitalists can see about 40 weeks of call per year.
5. Opportunities for teaching or research for those who are interested.
6. Above median guaranteed base salary plus wRVUs, and competitive sign-on bonus.
