One Hour Heating and Air Conditioning of Johnson County is seeking a skilled HVAC technician to service, repair and maintain residential systems for the Johnson County community and nearby areas. You will apply strong communication and technical skills to help customers and grow with the company.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• EPA Core and Type II certification is required.
• Preference for 5–10 years HVAC technician experience.
• Clean driving record is required.
• Excellent communication and technical skills are essential.

Responsibilities

• Service, repair and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Evaluate conditions of equipment across ages and manufacturers.
• Diagnose HVAC failures and determine repair scope.
• Educate homeowners on repair and replacement options; present financing options.
• Navigate Service Titan, present invoices and estimates via an iPad.
• Learn and apply the One Hour sales system and ethical practices.
• Keep a neat work area and ensure cleanliness after each job.
• Maintain a safety-conscious attitude on the job and while driving.
• Practice safe, respectful habits in customers' homes.
• Maintain company vehicle cleanliness inside and out.

Job Summary

In this position you will be given the opportunity to perform or service, repair, and maintenance on residential heating and air conditioning systems for the Johnson County community and residing communities nearby.

JOB DUTIES

• Service, repair and maintain residential HVAC systems.
• Evaluate the present conditions of equipment from all age ranges and manufacturers.
• Diagnose HVAC system failures and determine the extent of their repairs needed.
• Educate and present homeowners with HVAC system repair and replacement options
• Present financing options.
• Navigate Service Titan, presenting invoices and estimates via an iPad.
• Learn the One Hour sales system and ethical practices.
• Always maintain a neat work area and inspect that area for cleanliness after completion of each job.
• Convey a safety-conscious attitude, both on the job and while driving.
• Practice safe and respectful habits while in the client’s home.
• Maintain company vehicle, ensuring that it is always clean on both the inside and outside.

MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

• High school diploma and or GED.
• Preference (not required) have 5-10 years prior of successful experience as a technician in the HVAC industry.
• EPA Core and Type II certification required.
• Clean driving record.
• Must display strong communication skills and technical competence.
