Affirmed Home Care, Inc. in New Jersey is seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) to join our growing team. Flexible scheduling and a generous sign-on bonus are available, with positions in Newark, Linden and surrounding Union County areas.

Travel to clients’ homes is required to deliver high-quality nursing care. We offer weekly pay, direct deposit, overtime opportunities, and paid time off. Candidates must hold an active LPN license, recent physical, tuberculin test or chest X-ray,

Qualifications

• Valid LPN license is required.
• Recent annual physical within the last year.
• PPD or QuantiFeron test within the past year, or chest X-ray within the last five years.
• MMR labs.

Responsibilities

• Traveling to clients’ homes to deliver top-notch nursing care based on best practices.
• Checking and monitoring vital signs for ongoing assessments.
• Documenting care activities in a thorough, confidential manner.
• Evaluating patients’ well-being and communicating any needs to the Director of Clinical Nursing or emergency services.
• Assisting with personal care and meal preparations.
• Providing more advanced nursing care, including management of chest tubes, colostomies, and urinary catheters.
• Offering emotional support to clients and their families during challenging times.
