Job summary

PruittHealth @ Home is seeking a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) to assist patients in home health settings in Durham, NC. You will provide personal hygiene support, monitor health status, and collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to ensure consistent, quality care in patients' homes.

Required certification as a CNA, Home Care Aide training, and a valid driver's license. Experience in home health is desirable; competitive pay and a supportive team environment are offered.

Qualifications

• Certificate of completion of a state recognized Home Care Aide Training Program and supervised clinical practice.
• One year of experience working with adults in a healthcare setting.
• Current registration in the state Nurse Aide Registry as a Certified Nurse Aide in state of practice.
• Valid driver’s license and automobile liability insurance.
• Home Health experience is desirable.

Responsibilities

• Provides competent nursing care to home health patients per state guidelines and industry standards.
• Obtains vital signs and reports changes to supervisory personnel.
• Assists with personal hygiene and activities of daily living.
• Maintains a safe, clean and comfortable home environment for the patient.
• Maintains accurate and current records of visits and documents tasks timely.
