Job Title

Dental Assistant at Aesthetic & Family Dentistry of Washington

Pay Range

This range is provided by Aesthetic & Family Dentistry of Washington. Your actual pay will be based on your skills and experience — talk with your recruiter to learn more.

Base pay range: $24.00/hr - $32.00/hr

Job Responsibilities

• Perform patient care, office, and laboratory duties such as preparing treatment rooms, sterilizing instruments, and assisting during procedures.
• Make patients comfortable, prepare them for treatment, obtain dental records, and instruct on postoperative and oral health care.
• Prepare materials for impressions and restorations, charting, and take dental x-rays as directed by a dentist.
• Support office duties including ordering supplies, scheduling follow-up appointments, and organizing clinical supplies.

Qualifications

• Certified in the District of Columbia as a Dental Assistant II.
• At least two years of experience.
• Pleasant and courteous personality, strong computer skills, and excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
• Experience with dental practice management software is a plus.
