Job summary

Ultimate Staffing Services seeks a Tools Management Engineer to join our Grapevine, TX team on a full-time, 100% onsite basis. You will manage engineering tools, software platforms, and resources to enable efficient product development and operational excellence.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, IT, Industrial Engineering or related technical field.
• 3+ years of experience managing engineering software, technical systems, or enterprise applications.
• Experience with engineering, CAD, PLM, simulation, testing, manufacturing, or product development tools preferred.
• Strong understanding of system implementation, software lifecycle management, and process improvement methodologies.
• Proven project management, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management abilities.
• Experience managing software vendors, licensing, and technology budgets is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Tool Strategy, Selection & Evaluation: evaluate, recommend and implement engineering tools and platforms; develop business cases for new tool investments.
• Implementation & System Integration: lead end-to-end deployment and integration of tools with systems and workflows.
• Tool Administration, Maintenance & Support: oversee lifecycle, troubleshoot issues, provide user training.
• Continuous Improvement & Optimization: monitor tool performance and drive adoption and workflow improvements.
• Documentation & Analytics: maintain configurations, licensing, ROI metrics, and governance documentation.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: align tool capabilities with Engineering, IT, Quality, Operations and Procurement.
• Compliance, Security & Governance: ensure licensing, security controls, and regulatory requirements.
• Cost & Vendor Management: manage budgets, evaluate vendors, negotiate contracts and optimization opportunities.
