Job summary
Mayo Clinic is seeking a senior leader for the Enterprise Revenue Cycle Tools & Solutions team. This hybrid role requires proximity to a Mayo Clinic campus for on-site needs and provides strategic analytics leadership across multiple sites.

Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience, including at least 2 years of financial leadership.
- Master’s degree and 6 years' experience, including at least 2 years of financial leadership.
- In lieu of Bachelor's degree, 12 years' experience with 2 years of leadership may be considered.
- Healthcare revenue cycle leadership experience preferred.

This is a hybrid position and must be located within 100 miles of a Mayo Clinic campus for occasional on-site expectations based on business needs. Provides direction to professional and supervisory staff in the Revenue Cycle. Participates in strategic planning for the Enterprise Revenue Cycle Tools & Solutions team. Leads major analytics initiatives for Revenue Cycle, partnering closely with Revenue Cycle Operational Leadership and Central Intelligence and Analytics Developers. Translates the Mayo Clinic and departmental vision into meaningful and effective responses and results. Delegates responsibility and authority to carry out work. Manages multiple functions and serves as a resource with oversight in day to day activities. May manage multi-site operations. Expected to possess technical knowledge appropriate to functions being managed with additional knowledge in other functions including professional management. Participates in the identification of opportunities to improve processes and to act as a catalyst for realizing these improvements. Acts as a facilitator and generator of new ideas and a mediator on difficult issues. Brings awareness of current external environment issues. Participates in the overall management of the Enterprise Revenue Cycle by chairing and serving on Enterprise projects/groups, task forces, councils and committees. Serves as a liaison between sections and other departments and agencies inside and outside Mayo. Creates customer service driven sections and fosters collaboration with physician and administrative colleagues. Builds teamwork within the Enterprise Revenue Cycle. Participates in retention planning initiatives. Travel required as assignments warrant. Bachelor's degree and 8 years' experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience OR Master’s degree and 6 years of relevant experience, which includes at least 2 years of relevant financial leadership experience OR in lieu of bachelor's degree, 12 years' of relevant experience is required, which includes 2 years of relevant financial leadership may be considered.
Health care revenue cycle leadership experience preferred. Relevant certification(s). Healthcare Financial Management Association (HFMA) Certification Preferred. Master’s degree preferred.
Strong understanding of analytical methods, data visualization, complex dashboards, analytical tools, statistical reasoning, data ETL processes, automation, and creating scalable and sustainable processes. Ability to connect externally with stakeholders to understand the underlying need and internally with stakeholders to ensure smooth project delivery. Working knowledge of data governance, KPI standardization, and data quality principles. Working knowledge of Epic data and reporting concepts (e.g., Clarity, Caboodle, Cogito tools) as well as analytical tools (eg., PowerBI/Fabric, Tableau, GCP) sufficient to guide analytical work and interpret results preferred.
