Job summary

Motorola Solutions seeks an experienced software engineer to design and build AI/ML driven language and document generation systems. You will own development tasks end-to-end, collaborate with product teams, and contribute to architectural discussions.

The role requires strong coding skills, API security experience, and the ability to translate business requirements into technical execution. The position emphasizes agile processes, cross-functional teamwork, and delivering robust solutions

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of software development experience.
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing AI/ML applications, particularly LLMs.
• Strong understanding of software development methodologies and project management principles.
• Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and modifying databases.
• Experience implementing complex API authentication and authorization flows (especially service-to-service authentication).
• Proven ability to translate complex business requirements into technical implementation details and user stories.
• Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.

Responsibilities

Job Description

Required Skills

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
• 3+ years of experience in software development
• 3+ years of experience in designing and developing AI/ML applications, particularly LLMs

• Experience with designing, deploying, maintaining, and modifying databases.

• Working experience in Agile methodology, Git workflows, and GitHub
• Working experience with AI assistants such as Gemini, Windsurf, and coding/development tools.

Target Base Salary Range: $78,000 - $88,000 USD

Basic Requirements

• Bachelors Degree with 2+ years of developer experience as intern OR 3+ years of developer experience as a professional or related field
• Legal authorization to work in the U.S. indefinitely is required. Employer work permit sponsorship is not available for this position.
