Job summary

VVI Staffing Consultants seeks a CNC Machining / Tool Designer to support new product development projects. The role focuses on tooling design, fixture creation, and coordinating with outside vendors to ensure precision and quality.

The candidate will read blueprints, verify design to customer specs, and assist in layout and measurement using CMMs, with expertise in GD&T and Gage R&R as part of quality processes.

Qualifications

• CAD experience required in a manufacturing/machining environment.
• Experience manufacturing in machining environments.
• Knowledge of lab measuring equipment; CMMs.

Responsibilities

• Design tooling, gauges, and fixtures.
• Manage tooling builds with outside vendors.
• Read blueprints to determine design per customer specs.
• Support layout and measurement of tooling and parts using CMM.
• Generate Gage R&R and GD&T.
