Key duties include designing industrial tooling, dies, gauges, and fixtures, while adhering to ANSI/ISO standards and GD&T practices. You will work within the Tool Design department to produce production-ready drawings and specifications.

Competenze

• 3+ years of CATIA design experience in 3D modeling and detailing.
• Familiar with ANSI/ISO drawing standards.
• Experience designing castings, stampings, and turned components.
• GD&T knowledge for applying rules to drawings.
• Strong writing and communication of technical details.
• Proficient in MS Office: Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Looking for an Engineer Tool 2 to support our Tool design department. As a member of the Tool Design department, you’ll get to support tool designs for manufacturing on F35 and Global Hawk. This position will be on-site at Palmdale, CA.

Basic Qualifications for Engineer Tool 2

• 3+ years of Catia design experience (high proficiency in 3D modeling and detailing).
• Familiarity with Industry Standards related to Detailed Drawing Requirements, ANSI, ISO, etc.
• Knowledgeable in designing castings, stampings and turned components
• GD&T knowledge (it’s understanding and usage) in order to properly apply the rules to drawings
• Efficient in writing, communication and ability to manage technical details
• Proficient with Microsoft office products - Outlook, Word, Excel, PowerPoint
