US-Air-Combat-Command at Mountain Home AFB, ID is seeking a flexible Auto Skills Center position to support base patrons and maintain a well organized shop environment. This non-appropriated fund (NAF) role offers up to 40 hours per week with no guaranteed hours and no benefits.

Candidates must meet the experience requirements and be able to lift up to 10 lbs (40 lbs with assistance) and pass a pre-employment physical.

• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).

About the position:

This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Skills Center at Mountain Home AFB, ID.

This is a Flexible position with no guaranteed hours, however may work up to 40 hours per week. This position does not offer benefits.

Frequently lifts and carries items weighing up to 10lbs. May occasionally handle items weighing up to 40lbs. May lift heavier items with weight handling equipment or with assistance from other workers.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.

Qualifying Experience:

• Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts; good workshop practices to include setting up and maintaining a neat, well organized and secure storage area; inventory procedures and records maintenance.
• In addition, must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service.
• Must be able to follow written and/or oral instruction, make simple mathematical computations and be able to follow cash handling procedures.
• Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions.
• Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
• Must satisfactorily complete a pre-employment physical.
• Must be able to satisfactorily complete a National Agency Check with Inquiries (NACI).
