This position is Non-appropriated Fund (NAF) and will be assigned to the Auto Hobby shop on Tyndall AFB. The selected applicant must be available to work weekends as required to support operational needs.
Works in areas that require standing, stooping, bending, and working in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Lifts and carries items weighing up to 40 pounds. May lift heavier items with weight handling equipment or with assistance from others.

In order to qualify, you must meet the experience requirements described below. Experience refers to paid and unpaid experience, including volunteer work done through National Service programs (e.g., Peace Corps, AmeriCorps) and other organizations (e.g., professional; philanthropic; religious; spiritual; community; student; social). You will receive credit for all qualifying experience, including volunteer experience. Your resume must clearly describe your relevant experience; if the position allows for qualifying based on education, your transcripts will be required as part of your application.
Must have experience which demonstrates knowledge of a wide variety of automotive tools and parts; good work shop practices to include setting up and maintaining a neat, well organized and secure storage area; inventory procedures and records maintenance. In addition, must have experience working with patrons providing quality customer service. Must be able to follow written and/or oral instruction, make simple mathematical computations and be able to follow cash handling procedures. Must be able to stand, stoop, bend and work in tiring and uncomfortable positions. Must be able to lift objects weighing up to 10 pounds and occasionally handle objects weighing up to 40 pounds.
