Job summary

InProduction is seeking a meticulous Toolroom Team Member to manage tools, hardware, and consumables in our warehouse. You will issue, receive, track, and stock items, maintain accurate records, and support production by ensuring availability and safety.

Ideal candidates have 1+ years in inventory control or toolroom operations, knowledge of hand and power tools, strong organization, and the ability to work in a fast-paced manufacturing environment.

Qualifications

• 1+ years in inventory control or toolroom/warehouse operations.
• Knowledge of hand tools, power tools, hardware, and industrial supplies.
• Strong organizational and record-keeping skills.
• Ability to perform basic math and maintain inventory records.
• Good communication and customer service skills.

Responsibilities

• Issue, receive, and track tools, hardware, and consumable supplies.
• Maintain accurate inventory records and perform cycle counts.
• Stock and replenish toolroom inventory to ensure item availability.
• Inspect tools and equipment for wear, damage, or missing components.
• Coordinate tool repairs, calibration, and replacement as needed.
• Organize and maintain tool storage areas for easy access.
• Process requests for tools and supplies from employees and departments.
• Monitor inventory levels and communicate purchasing needs to management.
• Receive and verify incoming tool shipments.
• Keep the toolroom clean, safe, and compliant with safety standards.
• Assist with continuous improvement initiatives related to inventory control.
