Job Description

YOUR ROLE:

The following bullet points represent approximately 80% of your responsibilities. As a fast-paced company, tasks may vary and evolve as we grow.

  • Operate CNC Mill, EDM, Lathes, Milling machines, Drill presses, saws, & Laserwelder to produce specified dimensions and finishes on various materials.
  • Develop advanced CNC programs for Toolroom equipment using Esprit software.
  • Use measuring instruments such as calipers, depth mics, indicators, ensuring tolerances meet drawing specifications.
  • Modify tooling or fixturing based on drawings, sketches, layouts, blueprints, or verbal instructions.
  • Maintain tooling, production, and Toolroom equipment, including spare parts.
  • Inspect and repair tooling returned to Die Maintenance to ensure good condition and adequate stock.
  • Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives with an open mind.
  • Work independently or as part of a team.
  • Travel occasionally for training as needed.
  • Adhere to safety standards, use PPE, and follow LOTO procedures.
  • Maintain good attendance, punctuality, a positive attitude, and work overtime when required.
  • Participate actively in Toolroom team meetings.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
Qualifications

BASIC QUALIFICATIONS:

  • GED or High School diploma required
  • Manual & Advanced CNC Machining knowledge
  • Familiarity with CAD/CAM systems
  • Strong organizational, time management, and record-keeping skills
  • Proficiency with computers and Microsoft Office

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Ability to operate CAD/CAM systems with minimal guidance
  • Understanding of feeds, speeds, and machining tables in Machinist Handbook
  • Knowledge of geometry and trigonometry applications in machining
  • Experience with industry standards and inspection devices
  • Prior experience with Laserwelding
  • Technical or Trade school degree preferred
  • Willingness to travel as needed
