KONE is hiring a Toolroom Coordinator in the United States to track installation tools and maintain the tool room area. You will certify and repair tools, support the tool program, and ensure safety and quality in every task.
Ideal candidates bring 1+ years as a machinist, familiarity with 5S/LEAN, and the ability to operate hand and power tools. This role offers a competitive salary and benefits in a dynamic facility.

Receive and inspect tools
Repair and certify tools as required - Welding and fabrication
Schedule and ship tools as required by local installation offices
Perform scheduled maintenance on tools
Track and follow up on outstanding/overdue tool usage
Maintain log or other documentation regarding tooling
As our Toolroom Coordinator you will be responsible for tracking installation tools, maintaining tool room area, certifying tools, repairing tools, and other duties as required to maintain tool program. Your mission is to promote a positive culture by accomplishing safety and quality goals to achieve customer satisfaction and profitable business results. You will bring 1+ years of experience as a machinist to KONE. Experience with 5S and LEAN is a plus Education: High school diploma or equivalent.
Ability to exert up to 100 pounds of force occasionally and up to 50 pounds constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects. Ability to use hand and power tools such as screwdrivers, socket wrenches, hammers, pliers, impact wrench, wire cutters, tape measure and other job-related tools. Gross motor ability to kneel, crouch, bend, recline, and climb in a variety of maintenance related duties and to drive a forklift. English proficiency to perform troubleshooting and verify parts orders via telephone and or email. Communication skills necessary to interact with employees, management, and outside contractors. Software skills necessary to understand and operate email system and tool tracking software.

Salary range in a single location: The hiring range for this role is $21.39/hour - $28/hour. The compensation package offered will depend on their ability to meet the requirements of the role and a range of factors unique to each candidate, including their skill set, years and depth of experience, certifications, and location. Variable Compensation KONE Annual Bonus plan at 5% Target Incentive based on achievement of company goals and individual goals or KONE Sales Incentive based on achievements of sales targets.
