Job summary

Dauch Corporation in Three Rivers, MI is seeking a Toolmaker Technician to perform precision tooling tasks and support automotive manufacturing operations. You will work with Zeiss CMM hardware and software, Calypso programming, and ASME Y14.5 gauge calibration.

You will read blueprints and GD&T to interpret drawings and 3D CAD models while maintaining gauge inventory and collaborating with engineering to improve processes. This is a full-time on-site role at our Three Rivers facility.

Qualifications

• Journeyman's card or extensive Tool Maker experience.
• Experience with precision measurement and quality standards.

Responsibilities

• Operate and program Zeiss CMM hardware and software; set up probes and diagnostics.
• Calypso programming for fixturing and dimensioning.
• Read blueprints and GD&T to interpret drawings and 3D CAD models.
• Calibrate gauges per ASME Y14.5; use micrometers, calipers, height gauges, and surface plates.
• Enter and track gauges in IQS; repair gauges as needed.
• Maintain gauge lab cleanliness and inventory; travel to ROMF/ATDC as needed.
• Collaborate with engineering on gage tolerancing and process improvements.

This opportunity will provide the candidate hands-on, day-to-day technical interaction within automotive manufacturing.
